Mangaluru University, over the past 36 years of its inception, has continuously grown up in stature and is today recognised as one of the premier Universities in the country. It has opened its evening college at the campus of its constituent University College in Hampankatta from the year 2015. Now, University Evening College is offering MBA, M.com, M.A (Konkani), M.A (Tulu), B.A, B.com, B.C.A and Certificate and Diploma courses in foreign languages like French and German.

Many persons belonging to economically backward families are forced to discontinue studies in order to earn a livelihood. For such persons, the evening college is a convenient option to acquire a degree and enhance their career prospects at affordable fee.
